"Recollection: Mapping Memories in Sound and Color"
TouchDesigner, Audio Sensor
Recollection is an interactive artwork using technology and art to explore the intangible essence of memory. Using a foam board map as the canvas, an audio sensor translates sounds into unique colors and images, offering participants a window into their own memories.
The artwork challenges the notion of memory as fleeting and intangible by allowing users to shape their own visual experiences. Whether through music, conversation, or touch, Recollection captures the elements, creating a dynamic and engaging visual dialogue. Recollection invites contemplation on the role of memories in shaping our understanding of self and our connections with others.
Through Recollection, I aim to create an immersive space where art and personal experience intertwine, urging us to explore the fluid landscapes of our memories and reconnect with them.
